Community badges are a neat way to identify user roles within the community forum. Each badge means something different, so it can get a bit confusing on what means what. Luckily this post should clear some things up. Here is a list of all available community badges, and how YOU can obtain them. Keep in mind that more badges may be added in the future. I will try and keep this post up to date.
Community badges
Bukkit Staff - This badge is given to users who are a member of Bukkit Labs' Staff Team. This is the only indicator that someone is on the Bukkit Labs Staff Team. Bukkit Staff will NEVER contact you and ask for your passwords!
Forum Moderator - This badge is given to users who are a member of our moderation team. These users help keep the forum safe and inviting for everyone to enjoy. They actively go through the forum to ensure all rules are being followed. This badge is only obtainable by being accepted into our moderation team.
Verified Developer - This badge is given to users who have verified themselves with Bukkit Staff as developers of a well-known app/game in the community.
Content Creator - This badge is given to users who have verified themselves with Bukkit Staff as Social Media Personalities that make educational content surrounding tech. Whether that be coding, modeling, or anything computer science related.
Valued Contributor - This badge is awarded to users who actively contribute to the forum by starting up conversations, asking questions, and answering questions!
Community Helper - This badge is awarded to users who go out of their way to ensure people's problems do not go unanswered. Whether it be helping someone figure out why their code is not working, to helping someone create a shortcut on their desktop!
Dedicated Helper - This badge is awarded to users who go above and beyond the Community Helper. Users who are awarded this badge have consistently given solutions to problems and are always helping whenever they can. Bukkit Staff and Moderators award this badge to users that they have personally noticed are helping others. So, if you are awarded this badge, just know that you were handpicked for it :)
